peace on.
peace on earth.
the baby in the manger
came to bring peace to a
shattered and broken world.
peace is the promise spoken
by that baby now grown into a man:
"I'm leaving you with a gift - peace of
mind and heart. And the peace I give
is a gift the world cannot give.
So don't be troubled or afraid."
John 14:27
this world continues to shatter
piece by piece with each passing day...
shards of glass lying scattered on the ground.
and where is peace to be found?
peace. seems. absent.
yet this heart will believe
that peace is here
for HE is here.
His peace overflows.
His peace overflows
wherever He is.
and. He. is. here.
sink into His arms
in the quiet of the moment.
know that He holds this world
so shattered
so broken.
He wraps all in His peace
tied with ribbons of His love.
